Waitlist privacy policy

This policy explains how Unloopify handles the personal data of people who visit this page or join its waitlist. The controller is established in Spain, so the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union (GDPR) and the Spanish data protection and digital services laws (LOPDGDD and LSSI-CE) apply to everyone on the list, wherever they live. The app does not exist yet: the list is used to tell you about the launch and to measure how many people want it.

  2. What data we handle, why and on what legal basis:
    • Visiting the page: aggregated usage statistics with Cloudflare Web Analytics, with no cookies and no persistent visitor identifiers. Cloudflare may process technical connection data, such as the IP address, to deliver the page and keep it secure. Basis: legitimate interest in measuring how the page is used and keeping it secure (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
    • Waitlist: email address, phone system (iPhone or Android), optional answers (who the app is for, which app you would limit first, whether you would pay), the link you came from (social network and piece, without identifying you) and, if you came through a friend's link, that friend's code. Purpose: to email you when the app is available, work out your place on the list and measure demand in aggregate. Basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing.
    • Messages sent to hola@unloopify.com: name, email address and the content of the message. Purpose: to answer your enquiry. Basis: your consent when you write to us (art. 6.1.a GDPR).
  3. Your friends: we do not message your friends. We only count how many people join with your code; we do not tell you who they are.
  4. Processors and recipients: hosting and delivery of the page, database and email delivery, with providers that act as processors under a contract as required by art. 28 GDPR. We do not pass data to third parties unless the law requires it. International transfers: the database is in the European Union. Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) provides hosting, delivery and security for the page and may process technical visit data, such as the IP address, under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses and its participation in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The email delivery provider will be named here before the first launch email.
  5. Retention: until the app launches and we have told you, or 24 months after you join if it does not launch; then deleted. If you withdraw your consent, deleted sooner. Messages sent by email are kept as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and, after that, only for the legal limitation periods of possible claims.
  6. Your rights and how to use them: you can ask for access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability of your data, and withdraw any consent you gave, by writing to hola@unloopify.com or through the link in each email we send you. We answer within one month of receiving the request. We do not take decisions based only on automated processing that have legal effects on you. If you think your rights have not been met, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or to the data protection authority in your own country.
  7. Security: encryption in transit, access control and technical logs without personal data.
  8. Cookies: the page does not use analytics or advertising cookies and does not place identifiers on your device. The friend link is a web address parameter, not a cookie. The Cloudflare Turnstile anti-spam check may use strictly necessary technical storage, which does not need consent under art. 22.2 of the LSSI-CE.
  9. Age: the list is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data. The answer "my teenager" describes who the app would be for; we do not collect that person's data.
  10. Changes to this policy: we will publish any change here. The version and its date are shown on this page.
